Unless expressly stated, RomTex is not an authorized distributor, representative, agent, or affiliate of the manufacturers whose products appear on this website.

All manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, and part numbers, including SKF, Timken, NSK, FAG, NTN, Nachi, and other brands, remain the property of their respective owners.

Manufacturer references are used solely for the purpose of identifying and describing genuine products offered for resale.

No manufacturer endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or warranty is implied.

3. New Old Stock (NOS) and Surplus Inventory

Products identified as New Old Stock (NOS) are represented as unused inventory that may have been manufactured or stored for an extended period.

NOS and surplus products may exhibit:

• Aging or deterioration of original packaging.

• Cosmetic shelf wear or storage-related discoloration.

• Older manufacturer labels or packaging designs.

• Differences from current production packaging.

• Missing original packaging when disclosed.

RomTex makes reasonable efforts to accurately identify and describe products based on available markings, packaging, documentation, and visual inspection.

Unless expressly stated, products have not undergone laboratory testing, destructive testing, or independent engineering certification.

The designation "NOS" does not constitute a guarantee of remaining service life, suitability for a specific application, or equivalence to current-production inventory.

4. Product Authenticity and Identification

RomTex endeavors to source and offer genuine industrial components.

Product identification is based on available manufacturer markings, packaging, supplier information, and supporting documentation.

Where manufacturer traceability or certificates of conformity are available, they will be identified in the applicable listing or quotation.

Manufacturer traceability, factory certification, and original warranty coverage are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Customers requiring certified, traceable, or application-specific components must communicate those requirements before purchasing.

RomTex does not knowingly offer counterfeit products.

5. Industrial Use and Application Restrictions

Products sold through this website are offered for industrial and mechanical applications consistent with their specifications.

Unless expressly authorized in writing by RomTex, products are not offered or intended for use in automobiles or motorcycles.

Customers are solely responsible for determining the suitability of components for their intended applications, including compatibility, operating conditions, load ratings, speed ratings, lubrication, and installation requirements.

Products should be inspected and installed by qualified personnel.

Customers should not rely solely on part-number similarity or visual appearance when selecting components.

6. Safety-Critical Applications

Unless expressly approved in writing, RomTex products are not represented as certified or qualified for safety-critical applications, including aerospace, aviation, medical life-support systems, nuclear systems, or other applications in which component failure could result in serious injury, death, or substantial property damage.

Customers requiring components for such applications must obtain appropriate engineering approval, manufacturer certification, and documentation before use.

Nothing in this notice eliminates any legal responsibility RomTex may have for supplying defective or misrepresented products.

7. Warranties and Product Condition

Unless an express written warranty is provided, RomTex makes no additional voluntary warranties concerning NOS or surplus products.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

Products expressly designated "As-Is" are sold subject to the condition disclosures in their listings and applicable law.

No statement in this notice limits non-waivable statutory rights or remedies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RomTex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost production, business interruption, lost profits, or equipment downtime.

Where legally permitted, RomTex's aggregate contractual liability arising from a product purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable product liability obligations.

9. International Trade and Export Compliance

RomTex conducts international business only where permitted under applicable United States laws and regulations.

All international transactions are subject to applicable export controls, sanctions, restricted-party screening, and end-use restrictions, including regulations administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Sales involving Venezuela or other jurisdictions subject to trade restrictions are reviewed individually for legal compliance.

Customers must provide accurate information concerning the purchaser, consignee, end user, destination, and intended use when requested.

RomTex reserves the right to decline or cancel transactions that cannot lawfully be completed.

Customers may not divert products to prohibited parties, destinations, or end uses.

10. International Shipping and Import Responsibilities

International shipments arranged by RomTex may be quoted under DAP (Delivered at Place), Incoterms® 2020, when expressly identified in the applicable quotation or order confirmation.

Customers are generally responsible for destination-country import clearance, duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements under DAP terms.

Customer-arranged freight forwarding transactions are subject to separately agreed shipping and risk-transfer terms.

RomTex does not guarantee customs clearance or foreign regulatory approval.

11. Product Information and Website Accuracy

RomTex makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate product descriptions, specifications, photographs, pricing, and availability.

However, typographical errors, inventory discrepancies, and other inaccuracies may occasionally occur.

Customers should independently verify critical technical specifications before installation or use.

RomTex reserves the right to correct errors and cancel affected orders, with appropriate refunds where payment has been collected.
